Flash
2018

group-exhibition at Krasj 4
Biennial of Ninove

in-situ audiovisual work

Curated by Johan De Wilde, Rik De Boe & Reinhard Doubrawa

The videowork Flash is specifically made for the main location of the Biennial. The building is explored using cowboy-matches trying to light them on some different material of the surface. The building used to be a telecom building and was before a match-factory. The title of the biennial Krasj refers to this, Krasj means in the local dialect match.

Also, the light provoked by striking matches is necessary to get the surface lighted in an optimal way to make it visible for the camera and the spectator.

The work is projected on an edited wall on the inside of the building.
