Introducing Constructed Connections
sculptural constructions, photographical series, publication
Exhibited at BLANCO Gent, 2020
supported by Nucleo and Carl Uytterhaegen
Constructed Connections is the title of a new series of creations.
Small sculptural constructions are making a direct physical connection with the wall, the building. At the same time they form a intrinsically play of material being connected at all sort of manners and vizualising the way they are constructed as a primary quality and esthetically outcome.
A small publication is showing how the works can be connected to certain buildings, interacting with specific approaches of architects or architectural circumstances.
Often a work is specifically embedded in a building, emphasizing the being visual of the construction of the space.
